Life's Express Way
I am travelling on the Express Way
On this fresh, pleasant, windy day,
Admiring the sylvan greenery all around,
wishing to continue  beyond bound.

Gray clouds throng the sky all around
Wind scatters them like hay in mound.
Goats and sheep graze on the meadow,
Farmers sowed seeds in the dark shadow.

Women,  covered with sacks, bent double,
Planting paddy, smeared with mud till ankle.
Their colourful rows look simply amazing,
Moving, dancing bodies rhythmically swaying.

The  green hill gives thumbs up to the sky
as if offering tributes to  the almighty high.
The wild flowers enhance aesthetic appeal,
Vivid hues, shades of green my heart steal.

In mind's camera I capture this image  beautiful
As I go farther it  multiplies being immutable.
The  undulating Express Way is the way of life
Its charm increases in spite of mutable strife.
